One more blog. One more voice. I am starting this blog to exercise my skills as a writer. I will have a lot to say about many things. Sometimes I will offer well thought out, well presented ideas in a compelling and articulate fashion. Sometimes I will scale the heights of emotional outpour and touch the reader deeply. The idea is to communicate, to build bridges of understanding that will help people understand, even if they don't always agree.

Opinions are important, and how those opinions are expressed are just as important. Too much emotion, and reason is lost. Too much reason, and the argument is left cold. Balance is critical. Reason and emotion are both critical faculties of the human mind, but they must be balanced.

So we have a beginning. Let the opining begin.
